Simplicity always pays!
When writing a text or video script, customers will appreciate extreme simplicity and a direct language. Jargon and circumlocutions are simplicity’s worst enemy and surely are neither effective nor pleasant. And the risk is also to be a bit presumptuous to the eyes of the recipients. After all, if potential customers do not understand what is being said, they won’t almost certainly buy anything.
One of the main tips, when writing, is focusing on the benefits rather than the characteristics of a product or service. For example, not everyone will be interested in knowing how a cloud service works, but many will find it useful to be able to access their files from any device.
